Subscription & Refund Policy

This policy applies to subscriptions provided by Valda Fitness Ltd (Company No: 17080349), trading as Valda Fitness.
1. Your Subscription
- Cost: £5.00 per month.
- Billing: Handled securely via Paddle. Your subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
2. The Cooling-Off Period (Right to Cancel)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from the date of your initial subscription to cancel and receive a full refund.
Please note: If you access premium features during this 14-day period, we reserve the right to deduct a pro-rata amount for the days of service used before processing your refund.
3. Easy Cancellation (DMCCA 2024)
In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, cancelling your subscription is as easy as signing up.
- How to cancel: Go to App Settings → Manage Subscription in the app or on the web dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately — no phone calls, no retention flows, no dark patterns.
- Renewal reminders: We will send a mandatory reminder at least once every 6 months and before any significant change to your subscription price or terms, as required by the DMCCA 2024.
4. Refunds After the Cooling-Off Period
Outside of the initial 14-day cooling-off period, refunds for partial months are not generally provided. Exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of a significant, documented fault with the Service. To request a refund, contact support@valda.fit.
5. Price Changes
If we change the subscription price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice via email before the new price applies to your account. You are free to cancel before the change takes effect.
